Simply purchased to replace my old copy which went astray.

As an album, it's o̶k̶a̶y̶ (fantastic); as an icon and in relation to the nostalgia it evokes, I love it.
I̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶a̶t̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶m̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶ ̶g̶e̶n̶r̶e̶ (actually The Orb's music is excellent and kinda genre busting; I was reminded of this obvious fact whilst listening on B00HVLUR54 great quality headphones during a night of programming, and felt it necessary to update this review accordingly), but it is a defining moment in the cultural development of a generation.
There are some wonderful treats like the start of what would be side two of the single vinyl, b̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶v̶e̶r̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶m̶u̶m̶b̶l̶e̶s̶ ̶a̶l̶o̶n̶g̶.

Reviewing art is kind of ridiculous, so I'm not gonna drivel on.

The front of the jewel case had a small crack in it, but the disk was perfect :-)

A DUBBY, TRIPPY, HOUSEY GEM Considering when this made around 1991 it still sounds pretty fresh. Whilst the surreal nature of this production may sound a little 'of the 90's' like Future Sound Of London or Aphex Twin with samples, cross fading sounds and little tricks with the decks they have managed (in my opinion) to create music which surpases trends, modern technology and future music. This is a real gem because it takes you away to another place without being over the top or complicated. It is simple UK dub based surrealism at it's finest. After a few listens I started to realise that I need ALL OF THEIR STUFF! As I do with FSOL and AphexTwin. Bravo to trippy music its where I love to live.

the only song i ever remember hearing from the orb in the 90's was the brilliant Chill out/ambient/trip hop classic "little fluffy clouds",so having read reviews on here for this rather brilliant album "ufo" i had to purchase it..i wasn't dissapointed! For fans of ambient dance, william orbit and orbital you'll love this it's so inventive and a lot of the tracks do build and built and constantly change and are never boring!..even though some of the tracks on here are really long for example there is one that is 15mins long but it doesnt feel like it..Plus some of the tracks on here just utterly Chill you out..there are some that are more ambient than other's and some that are more dancier than other's but there's such a good mix and this album will definatley appeal to people that are fans of this sort of music or for fans of music in generall who like their music a bit different and more experimental buy it and find out!

Personally, my second favourite album from the Orb.
Obviously, and probably a bit cliched, it's a close second to Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld.

Still a very listenable album to chill out with.

Bit of an old classic, but anyone with a sizeable record collection should have this mostly because it is so different to anything else. The 20 minute version of Blue Room hits the spot when anything else is a bit hectic. If you need to chill out, put this on!
