It works perfectly fine at first clear sound, brilliant and easy to use. Unfortunately if I turn on my lights or radiator in the car the transmitter receives some disturbance for some reason and the sound becomes distorted. Also The main problem I'm facing with this product is it keeps turning itself off, sometimes within 30 seconds sometimes after 2 minutes but this is a constant problem I'm facing. I've had it for too long to return it. I wish somebody could help me fix it.
Absolutely dreadful. Nowhere near as good as the 2 quid Chinese cheapo that I used to have for my iPod. This thing eats batteries and if you try using the 12v adaptor it causes awful interference. It's basically useless -- doesn't do its intended job, is too light for a paperweight and too small for a doorstop. I thought Belkin were supposed to have a good reputation. Not with this thing they haven't.
This works really well in our 2006 Ford Focus, so now we can listen to the audio books on our phone via the car stereo. I confess that this has sat in a drawer for about 5 years after my husband bought it for me as a present. I didn't really have any particular use for it and found it got through batteries at a rate of knots and annoyingly would turn itself off whenever it lost the signal. Annoying, though to be honest I can't see why anyone would use it indoors - if you want a little speaker for your MP3 player/phone then get one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001UEBN42/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (I have one). But in the car, plugged into the lighter socket to save batteries, the Belkin is brilliant - glad I remembered it was in the drawer! Clearly it doesn't work for everyone though. If I was buying one now I'd probably go for something like the £10 TeckNet instead.
I found this a total waste of money and I wouldn't recommend it. We even tried the soldering a 30" wire to it as advised on some websites and that didn't work either. Actually, you shouldn't have to solder a wire to a brand new product to make it work! Normally Belkin products are good but this one is rubbish.
