I bought this CD, along with several others, from Amazon in January this year. I bought it with the aim of using it to perform in public. The songs themselves are reproduced quite accuratly and all appear to be in the correct key with very very similar melodies to the originals. The sound quality is very good too, no hissing or bass distortion. However, each track has a guide vocalist who sings the first line of each track (and occasionally a chorous line). This is fine for home use and indeed, I do use this CD for practise at home. Despite the vocals being very accurate and sounding well, they do tend to sound through the performance even when singing more powerfully to try and 'get on top'.
The 'High Hopes' track is the better one on the CD with the intrductions to each verse being sung by what sounds like a very well trained group. This, despite what I have said previously about the intro vocals, works very well and does make you feel you have a backing group.
If you would like to hone your performance at home, or just entertain yourself/others with karaoke then this CD should be fine as the intro vocalist will help you to enter the song at the right key/pitch. However, if you intend to use this in a professional performance, take a look at ( Karaoke - the Songs of Frank Sinatra ) as this will be the better option for you.
