I loved Love/Hate in their heyday, early to mid nineties .I went to their gig at the Barrowlands in Glasgow that was the Wasted in America tour. this is a good selection of their songs and a few cover vesions I aint heard before if you like your rock music hard and to the point this is for you.

I adored this band during the nineties, and I still adore them now. Their music is fiery and energetic, with great songs that have a compelling drive. I bought this album because the only stuff of Love/Hate after however many years, I still found I wanted some more of their stuff. The mix of this is a bit more dark and heavy than the earlier album, and the vocals are less up-front and bright. However, its still Love/Hate and the feeling was definitely still there. If you were a fan of them the first time round, then I would recommend this to add to your collection. If you haven't heard of them, then I would still recommend this, although if you can get hold of 'Wasted in America' that would be a much better introduction to this lively thrashy exciting band.

All your favorite Love/Hate tracks are on here in a re-recorded version and a few new tracks.
Sound quality is not that great to be honest, some tracks are better than others.
Jizzy's voice sounds as good as ever, all be it, a little more mature.
Let's face it, L/H always rocked, well worth having.
I would say this is probably for FANS of the band, as you really gotta wanna here this stuff again as most already have this stuff.
Driver is the best of the "new" tracks.
It's a crying shame Love/Hate didn't get the success they deserved, but this is definatly worth having if your a fan. And if your not, buy it any way and find out what you missed out on back in the day.
Long live the memories!!!

Love Hate were one of my favourite bands when i was a teenager - with their catchy vocals and juicy guitar riffs. When i came across this album, i thought to myself, finally a 'best of...' - citing all their classics it seemed like a must have. Unfortunately this album is a re-recorded version of all these songs - and perhaps the most disappointing things about it - is the way in 'why do you think they called it dope' the chorus is played at half-speed...it sounds awful. Very disappointing from this great band. For anyone who remembers how good they were try and track down their album "wasted in america" - you will not be disappointed by that, i promise.

THis album was not quite what I expected, Love/Hate's original albums were the best, remaking this album does not show this. The songs have all been redone, some rifts taken out, and the singing is not quite what it was. I have listened to the album twice and am still not completely impressed. This album does not do the original albums any justice, and live they are above the best.
The service from the seller was brilliant, rapid delivery and notes for progress of delivery, I have no complaints about the seller.

This CD is probably not worth buying. I love Blackout in the End Red Room - there is an energy and sound quality that makes this CD one of the best of its time. However, this CD consists of remixes of the originals and the sound quality and energy level is just not as good as on Blackout in the Red Room.
