My Children have never slept through the night despite baby massage, calming oils diffusing all day and upped in the last hour before bed, active play all day to the point of parental exhaustion, calming tv before bed and music, changed diet, home cooked food for all meals/snacks including bread to limit preservatives and unnecessary ingredients etc, you name it I've done it. So after nearly 8 years of 3 hours sleep a night, I had had enough as you can imagine I was exhausted, but children no matter the age can't have Mummy tired and slummed in a chair, it just doesn't happen the home needs to be clean, children clean and tidy and food cooked, husband ready for work the list is endless, but more importantly you need the energy for play and reading books and quality time with them all. With my eldest home schooled, a very happy energetic 3 year old and a little girl of 1 who has just finished feeding from me, I thought the time was right to try these. They are completely safe and natural and I thought it was worth a try, after trying/ attempting meditation with a baby (yes desperate for sleep) what harm could it do? Well no harm at all just so successful! Maybe with all the relaxation and calming atmosphere and blackout blinds it encouraged the serotonin levels to drop and get their little bodies ready for bed. So much so that it is permanently in out bedtime routine now. I'm not saying they sleep 8 hours+ because they don't but I now get at least 5 hours before they wake and need me.
It's changed our lives made it so much easier and more fun. It might not work for everyone but it's worked for us.
