Nice piece of kit, though it can't be used with the S/E pass-through charger, and it only transmits over fairly short distances, but ok if you are travelling light and it does work well in the car.If a call comes through, the callers name will display on the radio and will show track info if the radio is RDS enabled, which is a nice touch, though it cannot be used as a hands-free device, probably because the transmitter would be overwhelmed by the phone signal. Sound quality is probably as good as an FM transmitter gets.

This is a simple bit of kit to use, you plug it into the phone and it automatically starts your phones radio function, you then select the bandwidth you want to use on the phone and match it with the one on your car stereo. Once this is done you just select which music you want and hit play.

The only problem with this comes when you are in an area that has a lot of radio traffic - it makes it impossible to fin a free bandwidth to use.

NB: when driving if you happen to pass an electricity pylon or radio tower turn down the volume on your stereo cos if you don't the static is VERY loud.

This is cheap and easy to use, so can't complain about it from that perspective.

However, the same annoyances apply to this as with ALL FM Transmitter devices of this kind. The sound quality isn't great, but still fairly decent.

Finding an empty frequency is the most tricky, especially when driving long distance. I'm just going to make a few MP3 CD's for my car rather than continue to use this...

After receiving the MMR-70 transmitter in perfect condition, I was very disappointed to find that when used on my Sony Ericsson W995 mobile, the sound quality was very very poor when connected to several household radios. Overall, I think the product is a waste of money and doesn't come close to another brand that I currenty use in the car. I certainly won't be buying another MMR-70. Saying that, the brand I use in the car was 3 to 4 times more expensive when I purchasd it 4 years ago.

I would like to add that I have no problem with Amazon whatsoever, the ordering, delivery time and packaging was excellent, its the quality of the product that has let me down.

Great little gadget. I was burning CD after CD for my car multi-player until I got this.
Things to note - Make sure your phone is charged first. You can't use this with a charger and it does draw power. Radio hiss is noticable at loud volumes and you will need to turn the volume up.
On the plus side - all your tunes and your playlists; no brainless DJs! It sends CD text to your radio. You can use it in your friends car.
Excellent gadget (as long as you don't pay Sony prices) but watch for that radio hiss.

its a cool little gadget....does transmit the sound quite well...however at med-high volumes, a background hissing noise can be heard, and it is annoying.
