This film is fantastic. The filmmakers got unbelievable access to female suicide bombers. The women (failed suicide bombers now in prison) and their families speak candidly about their lives and what led them to martyrdom. Really suprisingly intimate details come out of the interviews along with seriously shocking footage. It's beautifully shot and does what storytelling and journalism ought to: allow you to enter a world you wouldn't normally be able to penetrate and tell you what's going on.
It's presented by Robert Baer (played by George Clooney in Syriana) and he said: "I almost look at the Cult of the Suicide Bomber films as a CIA briefing. In the CIA, we were taught to go to policy makers and tell them what we believe is the absolute truth. For me, the Cult films are the absolute truth."
This doc is quite simply a really important piece of filmmaking and everyone should see it.
