It is a 1,000 page book which builds up how a savage could plausibly take back the earth. Due to the greed of the security chief who wants to mine some gold that his people can not access, and educates the savage to a level far beyond current human accomplishment to teach the savage how to use advanced technology.

The Psychlos of the book have impenetrable armour, shields, and teleportation based travel but everything is ancient and badly maintained. They also have a completely dysfunctional society caused by brain operations to keep their secrets which turn them into psychopaths.

The film assumes that the revolt used human technology like jets that have been sitting around for 1,000 years and still work. It might have worked if they had followed the book, but they did not.

I watched this to see exactly just how bad it was and I was not disappointed in a manner of speaking. Pantomime badies dressed like cybergoths, forgettable good guys that you don't really care about, a storyline horribly lacking in depth and action sequences that chop and change to a point where they become incoherent. It seems disingenuous leaving such a bad review seeing as I watched almost the entire film but hey - if the film doesn't need to make sense them neither do I!

This is a truly terrible film, there is so much rubbish it is difficult to know where to start.... just one stupidism is that after 1000 years of just sitting around a fleet of planes would still be perfectly fit to fly.

This is absolutely amazingly rubbish... Barry Pepper, Kim Coates and Forest Whitaker must have been drugged, kidnapped and then forced to "act" in this "movie"...

Scientologists are extremely serious about scientology so don't laugh about it ok?

The best thing about this film is the picture on the box. The only possible reason I can see to watch this film is to see John Travolta on stilts with makeup done by the local primary school.

If there was a way to block movies from ever appearing on your screen. I would block this. Unfortunately I now have a selection of recommendations from amazon because I watched 5 minutes of it.
