This is my second album from Albert Hammond Jr and I find the music and the lyrics
are very good
I would say that if you put some of his music in with some of the Beatles you will find
it hard to pick them apart... unless you are a true Beatles fan....
So I give this album Five Gold Stars it's very enjoyable
sorry but not had chance yet to play the DVD yet but will return with a full review soon
all the best and do enjoy the music
from
SATAN

I came across this album, already having Albert's first album, and waiting for the Strokes to publish some new material.
I have received this cd a week ago and am very impressed that the sound is very good ayou don't get tired of the songs at all.
I find the cd very good but not ecellent, if this is the direction that the strokes are going to be taking well with the contribution of the other guys of the group it should be a knock out.
Buy it and enjoy it, i sure am enjoying the music.

The only reason i bough this was because of Gfc and Spooky Couch...

This is a pretty cool combo...

The DVD has a few videos from his concerts...

Spooky Couch is a wonderful instrumental. As it starts one can imagine themselves floating in space. Ah, a space lullaby is a good term to use. The sound is calm and simple, galaxies shine in the background, as you swim in empty space. Half way the ride more instruments jump in the mix, two guitars talking to each other, while a foot is tapping, violins speak of great horizons, and a piano interrupts one of the guitarists...As the song reaches a forte, close to its end, the drums begin to keep a beat while cellos begin to march into the conversation and bam... it ends.

If you liked the first album, then buy this one. I like when an artist follows up with more quality material. Thanks Albert!
