Well, ok.
I love horses and animals and riding and I love Tim Stockdale. But tim, your game is rubbish.
The graphics are hilariously bad for a start, unless you are competing, then for some reason they are airbrushed and good.
there is no real objective for this game; No storyline, no plot.
All you can do is train and compete, no trails or minigames. No things to unlock, no real time with your horse. The stable part of the game, where you go about looking after your horse, is really just something they threw in for good measure. You can do the horse's hooves; but you do only 1 hoof and it is unrealistic as you can scrape out the frog easily, which you can't do in real life. It doesn't matter if you hurt the horse, (which is impossible anyway) it doesn't matter because there are no happy points or morale points.
Feeding the horse and petting it is another thing you can do. You can brush it, but the dirt just seems to not stop flowing out of the bloody thing.

When it comes to competing, anywhoo, training is headwrecking.
You don't even have any goals; whether its speed, stamina or whatever your training in, its the exact same course. You don't even really have to pass training to compete.
This is a game you can easily play in a day. Its pretty not-so-fun.

It gets a thumbs down from me.
BUT!!!!!!!!!

There is one good thing; competing itself is good. It's challenging, well-graphiced and realistic.
I am 14 and this is what i think of the game. it is a good game for competing adults cuz looking after the horse is not even really needed at all, and as an adult you may feel stupid looking after a virtual horse.

Look, don't boycott the game. It's not awful....!

Having been looking forward to getting this game I was quite disappointed with it. The graphics aren't as good as I expected and it became quite repetitive after a while. You have to spend ages training, going round the same short courses time after time, but at least this gives you chance to get used to the controls - which do not make good use of the stylus at all (in fact the only time this is used is when you have to care for the horse in its stable, but even then you can only feed it, pick out its hooves, brush it or pat it).
One good thing about this game is that it gives the opportunity to have multiple players and play against the console, or against each other. Also, if you don't like having to spend ages caring for the horse and prefer the riding side of the game, there won't be a big problem here.

Overall: an okay game, but don't get your hopes up too much.

Competition feature good. Graphics and sound average. Could have done with a better story line. Caring for horse poor. Prefered Pippa Funnel game,

this is the most worst game i have ever had in my life. Well i am 11 and my antey got me this game and i coulent wait open to but WHAT A DISAPOINTMANT. 1st of all you dont get to choose a character or a good horse and in the stable to feed your horse you just tap a butten and it turns its hed to a yellow box!!!
and all the trainig you just do the same jumping course ALL through the game. And with the hoof cleaning you just do 1 hoof and little grey squeres come up. So i say BAD BYE RUBBISH GAME bit the horses are kida cute in there colours. So if you want a GOOD horse game you will want to look at ...My horse and me 2 not number 1 2 is WAAAY better,......and Horse life 1.
oh and my mum is debra i am her daughter writing this revue.
