This comp is the same sort of thing like those "back to mine " or "the trip", "late night tales " etc.
So if you like that sort of thing this fits the bill nicely.
This has got a more relaxed summer vibe to it, so no rocking out to be found anywhere.
A bit blues, hip hop, soul , gospel and hippy trippy, just right for your deck chair and pimms.
Only one duff track...silver Apples, could do better, other wise.......

Generally a good selection of tunes but does not work so well as a compilation/mix as the flow is poor between tracks. Well worth buying though if you like The Bees as the influence each track has had can be heard in their own output. Tracklisting on this page is wrong as well, last two tracks are not on the CD but there are others missing as well.

I wish that other bands would put together compilations that show who has influenced them. This is a fun and groovy album that you can put on for the morning coffee and just smile. The Bees are a great band and I hope that they continue to put out great stuff, but I just wish that "Papa Echo" was a better song because I felt that it was the weakest track on the whole album. All and all this album def. shows who has influenced one of my favorite bands!!!
