I agree with the other commentor - but it is really worth spending the time getting this set up - once you have done it, it is obvious for the future. This can be used with other Bye Bye switches as it sends an 'ON' signal to what ever you wish and after the preset time an 'off' signal. Great not having to wire up remote lights!
I found this really easy to set up. All you do is choose the channel of the device you want to control, and how long you want the device to stay on when movement stops. Its very small and light so I just used velcro to stick it in a corner of the kitchen near the ceiling.
I have used BBS products for a while now and can honestly say they are costly and useless for products that fall into the 'eco' genre. Sockets have a high failure rate. Remote controls have poor usability. And with these you cannot guarantee it's either going to switch something on or worse switch it off again. Now given the company promotes energy saving devices the fact that your devices are not switched off all the time by these PIR's means they will end up costing you money. This aside you'll also find that as batteries become depleted the PIR will actually switch devices on. I don't know if this is by design, i.e. as a way of telling you the batteries need changing. Whichever way I find these to be too costly.
