Great quality item and kids use it lots

It took my husband and myself about 2 hours to apply, mostly because we never wallpapered before and so we spent at least half that time arguing... Lining up the four pieces wasn't really that difficult, especially when there's two of you, just try not to swear in front of the children.
I didn't use the glue supplied because I'd read the reviews on this product before purchasing and noticed several people mentioned that there was glue supplied with it, but that it wasn't sticking etc. So that combined with the fact that there was no mention of glue with the product description prompted me to spend £2 on a wee bag of wallpaper glue from a local diy shop. This did the job brilliantly, and to get a smooth finish i used a clean soft rag to smooth out the paper as i applied it,stroking any bubbles out towards the edges. The finish of our mural is perfect, no wrinkles or bubbles etc. Which was important to me as I'm a bit of a perfectionist.
So any stress was worth it, it's now the feature wall in the dining room, had lots of compliments and the kids are actually looking up places on the map all the time (just bought it to look nice) so that's a great bonus. The quality of the paper is lovely, feels thick and smooth and possibly wipe clean, although i haven't tried that yet. I can see this working in our home, both as a feature and an educational thing for many years.
