The Californian duo of Greg Dempsey and Kathy Yesse combined their talents with those of producer Leon Russell and musicians including legendary guitarist Jesse Ed Davis and long-term Eric Clapton sideman Carl Radle to create this stunningly original psych-pop classic in 1968. Combining knockout hooks with gorgeous female vocals and truly unexpected studio tricks, it was perhaps too bizarre to connect with the mass audience it deserved first time around, and makes its long-overdue CD debut here.

Bought this on vinyl in 1968. It was cheap & the cover was interesting. Was amazed when I discovered that it was out on CD. I've never seen another copy of this.
Can't imagine how this will sound to the ears of today. I love every track, but I've lived with it for forty odd years! Sixty year old hippies will love it.
Great to finally have it on cd.

Nice melodic California psych rock from 1968 and not really dated at all.
Male and female vocals throughout and the band includes Leon Russell on keyboards and Carl Radle on bass amongst others.

Slightly reminicent of Stones circa BUTTONS/Peanut Butter and Mamas and Papas at times.

Worth picking up if you collect this era .. oh and no drum solos or silly
throw away tracks included.
