Not so good like in the glory days!
on 28 September 2007
Alvin Lee was great in the past. He was the famous woodstock star, best known as the guitarman from TYA in the early and glory days of rock.
But this album is only the "over and over again" from songs in the near of "a space in time" and "free fall", "detroit diesel" and "zoom". Made in small homerecording sound and with spare ideas. Sometimes is the old genius from Alvin Lee`s wonderful guitarwork there, but the most time it`s sounds not so good like many years before with his MASTER and LIFE BAND Ten Years After. Sorry Mr. Lee, but I think for "SAGUITAR" are three stars enough! And for the next album in the studio please come back with a good band, not with drumcomputer and programming! What you play is handmade music and for that we like to hear wonderful musicans like Tim Hinkley - he`s keyboard work is a light of some tracks on saguitar!!!!
