A must-have for Toto lovers. This tour had Leland Sklar on bass and Simon Phillips on drums. Pure joy for your ears.

Toto fans have waited a long time for this DVD seeing as it was recorded 11 months ago. However, the band wanted to ensure that this, like the album, was exactly what they wanted. It was well worth the wait and only one word can sum up this...Magnificent. If there is one Toto DVD that you must buy then this is it. The camera work and sound are a million miles better than any of the previous releases. For those who saw Toto on tour it will bring back the wonderful memories of a band despite now being 30 years old continues to evolve and seek perfection. The play list encompasses the whole of their career to date including four songs from the Falling In Between album. The added extras are interviews with each band member who toured and not the video clips that are on the official website (the making of Falling in between). It terms of value for money it's top notch....142 minutes of one of the most underrated bands in the World.

This is a brilliant DVD. It shows the band at their best - full of energy and having a ball. As ever, they demonstrate that they are masters of their craft and it is no wonder that Steve Lukather has just been voted the best rock guitarist of all time in a major internet poll. His solo spot is out of this world. The production of the vocals are 3000% better than the CD version and Greg Phillinganes is shown to be a hidden gem of a vocalist. They have been 'fixed' a bit but not obviously so like on the CD. The offbeat version of Rosanna and the superb Gypsy Train are the highlights for me but it is really all truly amazing. Around 2 hours of concert and 30 minutes of interviews make this excellent value and is worth twice the price.

Cant say anymore, other than Phenomenal!
had it on DVD and sold it to friend and then purchased again on Blu-Ray
amazing musicianship, great songs, yes their vocals have been pitch corrected quite a bit!
but at almost 60 years old, Bobby Kimball isnt 30 anymore! lol

played mine through a surround sound 7.1 system, INCREDIBLE :-)

If the FiB tour is to be their last (as several interviews with Luke would suggest) then this is a more than worthy way to bow out. Given that musicians of the calibre of David Hungate, Jeff Porcaro, David Paich, Mike Porcaro, Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams are not part of this DVD, the talent on stage is jaw-dropping. As usual, Luke holds it all together, and this is perhaps the best set-list the band have ever put together. Anyone who ever dismissed Toto as an AOR band trapped in the days of big hair and anthems, needs to cop and earful of this. Toto can rock with the very best, as proven by Falling In Between, Gypsy Train and Gift Of Faith, but also provide favourites such as the hugely underrated Pamela, Rosanna with its cool new jazzy beginning, and Africa with its skin-pricking new ending. The magnificent beast that is a Toto medley includes here a Luke solo that leaves you awestruck, his hands flashing up and down the MusicMan neck like a demented arachnid. And the Simon Phillips solo that culminates in the hard-edge end of Hydra made me shake my head in wonder. An amazing bunch of musicians, who truly enjoy what they do on stage, and this DVD captures that essence perfectly.

A cynic might describe this as a bunch of old blokes going through the motions, especially as the bassist looks like Alf Garnett with long hair and a ZZ Top beard and the singer looks like Ken Stott as Rebus in a trendy jacket. However, what distinguishes this from the likes of Rod Stewart is the quality of music and musicianship. I bought this DVD "on spec" so don't know most of the numbers. However, they all sound great and have a harder edge than I was expecting, and the playing of the amazing, although at times cliched (although he probably invented them), Steve Lukather, plus the RIDICULOUS talents of ambidextrous Simon Philips has been recorded brilliantly. Recommended.

Been a Toto fan for years and with each album they just get better and better. Bought this on BluRay to experience the full quality of the show, which is performed by musicians who are true masters of their craft playing to an exceptionally high standard. Lee Sklar fits in superbly as a stand-in for Mike Porcaro and never misses a note. Steve Lukather just blows me away with his fluid riffs complemented by Greg Phillinganes who rules those keyboards. For me, Bobby Kimball is the only vocalist for Toto and Simon Phillips cannot be bettered as an all round solid and stylish percussionist. Tony Spinner is featured on vocals in Stop Loving You rather than being seen as a background guitar/vocalist.
The only downside is that the picture quality loses HD and becomes very blurred at around 46:45 during 'Cruel' as if it has been transferred from old VHS tape. This lasts until around 46:23 st the start of Greg's solo when it clears again. Don't know if it's just my copy as nobody else seems to have mentioned this.
Otherwise a really superb album well worth owning as the combined talent of these guys is remarkable and a fitting tribute to one of the best bands ever to grace a stage. Thanks Toto.
Buy it and enjoy!

Excellent concert from a revived TOTO. Beautifully filmed and recorded with lots of great new material mixed in with the old faves. These guys do not seem like old rock dinosaurs at all. The show is fresh and powerful. One of my better concert dvds.

Been waiting ages for this DVD, my friend "Geoff Banks" also known as "The Bison" is Steve Lukathers Guitar Tech when they tour here in the UK and abroad, he`s on the DVD at the start and in the interviews, now he`s famous! i dont think he knows yet! lol...........
well, what can i say, the musical performances are incredible, im not sure IF some of the vocals have been "AUTO-TUNED" up a bit, some of it does sound very "studiofied" especially Bobby Kimball, mind you the poor sod is almost 60 isnt he? he does seem to struggle on a few numbers, but the stuff is hard to sing!
i have played about 10 TOTO numbers over the years and they take a lot of work to nail properly.
Greg Philinganes does a sterling job vocally and keyboard wise, as a Semi-Professional Keyboard Player for 10 years, i always thought he was good but NOT this good, WOW!!! im giving up now! he he
Lukather never dissapoints, stunning guitar player and massively under rated vocalist, Simon Phillips is incredible, i dont think they could have found anyone else as good to replace Jeff Porcaro, Lee Sklar adds a different element to the band, he learnt the entire show in 5 days!! hats off to the guy..... other great performances are Tony Spinner who really does thicken the bands sound up, the guy also has a great voice, he should use it more........ overall then, this DVD is a must have!
still my favourite band, great songs, great Musicians, what more can you say?
