Looks nice enough but flawed experience. I would avoid.

I bought this having really enjoyed using my GraphGear 1000 Pentel pencil in 0.5mm. I wanted to try a thicker lead and wanted something a bit less showy. Overall I am disappointed and won't be using this much.
The pencil looks splendid. It has a nice weight to it without being "chunky", however it is flat-out unpleasant to use. The lead advance mechanism is very soft and woolly-feeling, lacking the positive "click" you get with other pencils. Also occasionally the lead gripper fails and you need to re-advance the lead. I am a somewhat heavy writer (I used 2H leads to combat this) however I've never had this problem with other pencils.
The eraser is of a good size and the twist-to-advance technique is really nice, but again I feel the whole eraser cap lacks the same "postive" feel about removing it and putting it back on. Everything feels mushy in a way most mechanical pencil users (engineers, geeks, technical folk) will probably abhor.
If you want a lightweight pencil that is fairly cheap, this is an alright purchase, however don't expect the mechanism to be any better than a throwaway mechanical pencil.
