This is about as real as it gets ,, Having seen Mr Hagar strut his stuff in concert many times over the years , I have to admit this has got to go down as one of the best live recordings of his or any other " super stars " performance,,, Playing to a packed St Louis crowd , the atmosphere never never drops below fever pitch ,, with all the old Sammy classics + the Van Halen years , featuring part time "Wabo" Michael Anthony guesting on bass & most of the new songs from the Livin' It Up cd from 2006, the Wabo's storm thru a breathless & relentless set that should become compulsive viewing to up and coming rock acts,,, A few words have to be mentioned about the musicianship of Sammy's Wabo's too ,, Over the years they have become such a tight band with the percussive power of Mona Gnader (bass) & David Lauser (drums) keeping the old Led Zep flag flying high ,, & Victor Jonstone suberb guitar licks jamming well with Sammys still excellent historyonics ,,, it all go's to making a not to be missed performance ,, If Sammy ever get's to bring the whole CaboWabo experience over to the British shores,, anyone who considers him or her self a classic rock fan would be a fool to miss out on one of the truly great live act's still going strong on the scene today !!!!
Keep Red Rockin' Sammy !!!! Dave Green , UK.

It's good to see that Sammy Hagar after leaving Van Halen in 1996 is still doing great rock music. As this is promoting his new album Livin' It Up there are a lot songs from that cd. Also some old Sammy classics such as I Can't Drive 55 and Heavy Metal. The concert has such a great fun atmosphere it's like one big party, with all the bar women and some drinking that gets thrown into the crowd. Towards the end of the show the bass player Michael Anthony comes on for some Van Halen songs which is a nice treat. Play this dvd loud in stereo or surround sound and enjoy the party this dvd is a must have for any self respecting rock fan it rocks.
