Hmm... I really hope Feist doesn't become known as "that girl with a nice voice who was on an iPod commercial", as the songs on The Reminder seem both timeless and trendless. Not genius, of course, but there's a certain tilt to this music that puts it ahead of most of 2007's more hyped albums, even if the chaos that makes Broken Social Scene so great isn't present. Special mention to her beautiful take on "Sealion", which features perhaps the most fragile vocals I've ever heard.
