This is a great introduction to David Tibet's muse (hallucinatory, Patripassionist song) - the middle disc, containing shorter pieces, is particularly good - try The Bloodbells Chime or The Frolic for a gentle way in to some of the darker songs. Nick Cave guests, to great effect, on the last two tracks.

Don't want to say much about this album other than its highly recommended, its my favourite by them (although, admittedly, i haven't heard a ton of there stuff, i have about 5 current 93 releases)

It's worth especially getting hold of for the two ep's at either side of the main album.

Great
