Kongdom is good and solid entertainment although the story about the solicitor with a heart of gold who spends more time being a psychologist than a lawyer is hardly very original. Kingdom shows some beautiful pictures of Norfolk and did to that county what Doc Martin did for the west country. But here comparisons must end as Clunes is the more versatile actor (Fry is Kingdom but also vice versa) and the show is more original. The show's underlying sub plot is Kingdom's missing brother who is presumed dead. First of all, it's very obvious what's going on and sescondly I don't really see that as an integral part of the story. So all in all, it's well made, very English and entertaining but not highly original.

If you like Norfolk, particularly coastal scenery, and light Sunday evening entertainment then like me you will like this. If not, you'll not.
