Here's how it works. You use the powdered stuff inside these tins to mix up milk-shakes.
You have a shake for breakfast, adding your own fruit. Then two hours later you have a slim-fast snack bar (sold seperately). Two hours after that you have lunch. This is another shake, with either fruit or lean meat and salad. Two hours after that you have another snack bar. Then another two hours after that you have a sensible dinner.
The idea is that you eat a controled amount of calories. You eat little but often, keeping your metabolism high.
The end result is that you do indeed lose weight. Yes, it works. However, some words of advice... ...the shakes do not taste brilliant, and the repetitive nature of the diet will soon become a chore, and you'll need iron clad self-control to resist things such as alcohol, sugary drinks, chocolate, desserts and other such treats. Also, the slim-fast diet is not cheap.
So, in conclusion.. Does slim-fast work? Yes, it does. But its not for everyone.
I lost half a stone in just over 4 weeks, but i tend to think that i could have achieved the same with a trip to my doctor to get a simple diet sheet.
