Great taste and effective but packaging really needs a rethink.

The Cookies & Cream bars taste great and seem to keep me going well during training and racing on the bike. The texture is quite firm and best chewed in smaller mouthfuls but having something more substantial than gels and energy drinks is, to me, a positive.
I have dropped stars due to the wretched packaging. While riding the ability to get a wrapper off using a combination of a single hand and teeth is important. The wrapper on these sticks badly to the bar then tears off in small fragments when trying to unwrap and peel back the plastic. The stickiness gets worse if the bar is carried in a jersey pocket. On a low-intensity training ride these problems are frustrating but just about tolerable but in a race or quicker ride the extra time and concentration needed is infuriating. So bad, in fact, that I have taken to unwrapping a couple of bars at home before a ride, cutting them into thirds (roughly a mouthful), and re-wrapping each in greaseproof paper. This works a treat but shouldn't be necessary!
