Classic concert that shows Neil Young at his peak. DVD footage is dark and obscure, certainly from the early 1970's but at least it gives the feeling of being there.

Great present for any Neil Young fan. Some really good songs dating back to 1971 and Dvd of Neil in his younger years - brings back many memories

one of my favourite live albums ever,i'm not usually keen on buying live albums,i prefer studio albums, but this is really worth buying, lots of great songs, neil young has a very clear and clean voice, some people don't like it but i like it a lot, better than many singers who mumble through the songs, at least i can understand what he is on about

...for the great live albums and this certainly is one. This must be the greatest "non-perfect singer" but perfect voice for the genius songs he wrote himself, even better than Dylan in my opinion. Absolute sincerity. God...learn from this you Xfactor clones if you truly want to stand the test of time.

This is an exceptional live recording with tremendous atmosphere. If only, as Neil says in his notes, this had been released at the time. It's been a long, long wait but well worth it.

A young Neil Young performs acoustic versions of his songs in concert to an enthusiastic audience. Accompanied mainly by guitar, Neil runs through some classic material. His voice has never sounded better. A vocal that is sweet, pure, strong and yet vulnerable sounding. One great composition follows another, interspersed with much audience appreciation, guitar tuning and relaxed banter. At one point the audience can be contained no longer and erupts. There are times when the performance is spellbinding, haunting and stunning. One or two of the songs are lesser known, but good to hear nonetheless. It is a terrific show-case of Neil Young's talent and is almost as if we are witnessing the songwriting process in action. A great singer/songwriter who could easily have become a great folk singer had he chosen that path.

Acoustic solo live set with a couple of piano tracks in the time between After the Gold rush and Harvest albums. Great versions of a number of songs from that era. A must for Neil Young fans and great quality recording.

Quite simply astonishing. I fail to understand how Q Magazine, etc can fail even to acknowledge the release of this masterpiece. We're in for a treat if the rest of the Archives releases are half as good as this.

Any Neil Young fan will know this concert and have it in his collection. The music is achingly beautiful and Neil at his simplest and best.
