Thumping Hardcore Throughout.
on 15 February 2007
Having been a Hardcore fan for around 3 years now and growing up listening to the "new breed" of UK Hardcore, when I see Seduction I don't expect much other than cheese. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard his mix on Hardcore Adrenaline which isn't cheesy at all and I actually rather enjoyed.
The Stu Allan mix is (as said by the other reviewer) just as good as Seductions, perhaps even better. I just loathe the "Cillit Bang" tune, while it is indeed jokes, I don't really want to be listening to Barry Scott whilst mash up.
As for disc 3, I didn't expect much from a "Bootleg Disc" but again I was surprised, although the mix as a whole aint great, it is packed full of chooooons, many of which i'd never heard before and really like. The mix of "Addicted to Bass" originally made by Puretone really stands out for me, as does the mix of "Teardrops."
I've only listened to each disc once so this review is based on first impressions. It's a good cd, perhaps 3 stars is harsh but I hunger after Hardcore compilations like Hardcore Til I Die 2, and unfortunately they don't seem to make compilations like that anymore.
