I am glad to see that others recognise the great stuff produced by this outfit - sadly - almost criminally - under-recognised in the UK. I heard them the first time with the Devil/Boney medley on Saturday Club because one of the Beatles (I think Ringo)- who were playing live on the show - asked for it from Brian Matthew. Great days and it sounds just as good now as it did then. I can only endorse what others have said BUY this album now or at least listen to the snips from these titles - it is as good as Rock N'Roll gets.

As I recall it was said that the band played with 2 drummers (not "percussionists") which made them pretty unique at the time and I have not heard of any band with a similar line-up since.

This CD from start to finish is purely energetic rock and roll magic. I don't think there's many CDs that I can honestly say there is not one single track of filler. There are some fantastic originals and some astounding Little Richard covers. Don't think about it, just buy it...NOW!

I had the cassette version of this years ago but it still sounds good today Don't care what what you call it high energy high revs or high octane, but every track is supercharged This band certainly knew how to make great records. Knocks spots off some modern music More please Mitch
