The opening line of the album is ''This is from our hearts''-and i think this sums up the whole album. It contains a song called 'Crisis' which is about the Blizzard of '77 which froze over many parts of Ontario (where they are from.) One of the lines in the song is "your car might be your coffin" which is scary as nine people were found dead in their cars after the blizzard was over. The song subjects really mean something on this album which is great to see as most bands these day just write about break ups and fallouts. This album features art work do to with the Blizzard too.
I normally listen to bands like Fall Out Boy and Funeral For A Friend but this album really got me into Alexisonfire. The lyrics are astounding and breathtaking. The videos are cool but nothing special apart from 'Accidents' which is actually being used for first aid training. Pretty cool stuff. If you buy this album you really won't regret it, It grows on you alot.

Alexisonfire are an awesome band. Great music for a variety of listeners, George Pettie (lead singer) has a powerful voice and tones it down where it needs to be.
Some stand out songs on the album are:
Rough hands - starts out slow and then builds into one of the best songs on the album, realy shows off Georges voice and the band as a whole.
This could be anywhere in the world - An all out rock song (with a pretty good video as well), great riffs and great support vocals
You won't be disappointed by this album, good buy
