I liked this book as it was a fast paced page turner. The villain was obvious. Glenda the heroine is a widow who also lost the child she was carrying. The hero Egan has loved her for so many years and boldly claims the opportunity to marry her. He however does not understand her pain in loving and losing but everytime something happends and he gets a glimse of her feelings and slowly understands. She doesn't want to love him yet she does. She is pregnant but she is so scared that she will lose the baby that she does not tell him, he gets angry and thinks that she does not to want have his child. You can feel her struggle and his frustrations.
