Big Edie 'n' Little Edie are in fine form here in that bittersweet, funny, achingly sad tale of mother and daughter fighting the world and also each other....the Maysle's are genius film makers keeping it simple and allowing a story to unfold....so very touching...its almost like a real life 'whatever happened to baby jane.'

Fascinating lives of two has been rich!. Real quirky pair!. Loved watching watching them!. Two women bred to be for high society wives and capable of nothing else.......too posh to scrub?!. Funny, sad and mind boggling,

An excellent collection of extra footage following on from the 1973 Maysles' documentary about the two reclusive Beales living in their dilapidated mansion in East Hampton.

The footage is nicely divided into appropriate chapters. We learn more about the frequent visitors Jerry Torre and Lois Wright, as well as have a rare glimpse at Little Edie's many imaginative costumes!

An excellent companion to the original Grey Gardens documentary.

Gulliver.

This is a great DVD and a must for any GG fans. It has differents bonus features than the other documentary edition and so I like having them both. You get to see inside GG as it is now which is great. If you havent seen the movie with Drew Barrymore its a must - they did a great job in portraying those ladies despite it seeming impossible!

More of the same - extra Grey Gardens! If you liked that you will love this. It is region 1 so only OK if you can play region 1 DVDs
