This is a great little film with a wonderful story line that follows the lives of a brother and sister following the loss of the little girls shoes. The antics that they get up to in order to conceal the loss to their parents was sometimes entertaining and sometimes a little sad. This was a wonderful insight into the lives of others who are not as fortunate as ourselves and despite having subtitles that some of my children are not old enough to read they were a captivated audience, as was I. A recommended watch!
Surely the best film about sibling and family love and respect you'll ever see. No amount of money, no professional actors could even begin to recreate the genius simplicity or sincerity here. The non-actors (children) here are absolutely brilliant, quite remarkable. It's a beautiful film, full of memorable scenes. Buy, watch, whatever...support great films and film makers like this.
