The detail in this add on cannot really be faulted at all, and the sound from the engines is superb, but using it on a Windows 7 platform gives a few unwanted glitches. At times the landing gear stays down regardless of whether you use "G" or the cockpit control, and messages appear telling you that the maximum speed for the flaps or landing gear is being exceeded even if they are not actually deployed! However this only seems to happen if the flight is started "in the air", ground take off's are OK.
There also seems to be a slight problem in the instruments, there are 4 starter switches for 2 engines, 1 instrument needs the magnetos switched off to work, doing so causes the engines to fail! However, this is an excellent simulator for detail and sound, it really is strange to try to take off seeing nothing until the tail rises up, and using only visual references to navigate and land is challenging. Firing the guns produces a stream of ejected cannon casings to fall away form the nose, with flashes from the guns and smoke trails drifting back from it, very impressive! The glitches may well not be present with Vista/XP, but even with Windows 7 there is nothing to really spoil your enjoyment of flying this legend of the WW2 skies. As with the Spitfire add on, be sure that the "control settings" regarding propellor torque etc are set to "max" to really experience what it was like to fly this aircraft at it's peak time. Highly recommended!

I love this and its a highly accurate great sounding plane to fly which any enthusiast will want, you only get a few models in the box all very high quality as said, however others are available admittedly for a small fee admittedly from just flight as downloads. Considering what you get with other titles from just flight I find that a little annoying but considering how much fun this is to fly especially at low level across the sea into Norway recreating 633 squadrons tale. It would be fantastic if someone could create an add-on to create small formations of aircraft to fly in unison.

All in all I would recommend this add-on but point out that in my oppinion it is incomplete with the ability to extend the sim by buying further downloads for additional models

Out of my shelf of aircraft add-ons, this is the one with the most play time. The twin Merlins really keep my neighbours up!
Its a good combination of speed and lateral performance. Originally designed as a race plane, has undergone combat spec and has not lost any of its gusto! The aircarft turns like a Spitfire and has remarkable speed. Requires the usual delicacy on landing as a stall is terminal in a bomber at low altitude. Great for exploration over VFR scenery as you can get a screen to sit as a bomb aimer and see all the scenery go by in the glass dome at the front. Great animations also. Tsetse included in base package.
Negative: Strange sound bug when returning from spot view - It gains a grumbling noise. Perplexing pay-to-use add-ons.
The usual 'Aeroplane Heaven' high quality.

Wonderful! The Virtual cockpit is an utter delight and the flight model is most pleasant (but probably very much easier than the real thing). The instrumentation is very smooth which makes 'flying' the Mossie a pleasure. I once spent a few hours in the cockpit of the real TA634 (on the ground) and JustFlight's rendition (by Flight Sim designers Aeroplane Heaven, I think) captures the atmosphere superbly.

Fantastic add-on for FS9 and FSX, a real beauty to fly, whether it's the high altitude PR model or the low flying FB models, it rocks!
