The best thing about this compilation is that it contains the beautiful song Find me a Family.
It also contains some of their great hits, but other are not here. I especially miss Sorry Suzanne.

This 3-CD box reissue is extremely good value for money, and covers a broad selection of their best recordings, all the way from the very first 1963 single Ain't that just like me, which was their first top 30 hit, up to the Nick Kershaw penned 40 years anniversary release The woman I love reaching the top 50 chart. An amazing career. If you want hits, you get the number ones I'm alive and He ain't heavy, and other big hits like Bus stop, Stop stop stop, Carrie Anne, On a carousel, Long cool woman in a black dress (US chart topper), Gasoline alley bred, Curly Billy and The air that I breathe. Only big hit, no 1 in fact, missing is I can't let go. Added is a fine selection of album tracks and single B-sides, among them some self-penned real gems like So lonely, Have you ever loved somebody (a hit for the Searchers), Too young to be married (a big hit in Australia). Enjoy. If I had to choose, I would personally have the hits on one (or two) CD(s) and add a CD with single B sides, but for the price of this reissue, you may use this as a nice gift if you dig deeper into the Hollies later.

Another fine selection of great songs by the legendary Hollies still playing and singing like in the 60's. I could write hundreds of words about them but it wouldn't be neither fair nor impartial as it is my favourite rock band amongst all.

Bought this to plug a few gaps in the Hollies output. Took a few plays to get into it.
Enjoyable then.

Taken from their Po.ydor portfoloio this shows how the band had matured in both their choice of songs and their polished performances.

I thought this album was okay but not as good as the greatest hits, it has a lot of songs that i've heard but never actually realised it was them, and some i had heard but was never able to purchase them.
They are a great group to watch live (seen them twice) and very energetic on stage.
