Great product. Didn't enjoy the film itself though, but delivery, quality and packaging was great.

Bought as a Christmas present for a four year old. Not quite as popular as the Snowman, but still very well received.

A delightful and moving story that will be a favourite with all ages of the family (from 18 months-my youngest to grandma at 67 years old!). The animation is beautiful (along the same lines as the snowman)and is set to enchanting music (a young Charlotte Church). I have also brought this film for lots of other children and it has always been well received. The price makes it a real bargain and a winner each Christmas.

If you and/or your kids liked The Snowman and/or Father Chrishmas, then you'll love this.

A young girl visits the zoo with her mum and dad, but accidentally drops her teddy into the polar bears pit. That night, the girl cries herself to sleep, only to wake and find a huge polar bear standing over her
he's come to return her precious teddy.

excellent dvd, buy it if you have the others and if you haven't, buy them ALL

The story really began in 1978 with Raymond Briggs' wonderful book 'The Snowman'.

The nation then embraced 'The Snowman' animated film back in 1982.
It has become the definitive Christmas classic ever since with nothing to distract you...

Until 1999; When 'The Bear' was released.

This utterly captivating film uses the same 'coloured pencil' type of animation, once again to amazing effect!

This time the story tells of a little girl and her magical friendship with a Polar Bear. With even more amazing special effects animation, this film takes us further than before.

Absolutely heartwarming, with a powerful score. An amazing song voiced by the (Then) young Charoltte Church.

Another Christmas classic then?
Absolutely!!!

Enchanting short film with a beautiful soundtrack. Bought for my 2.5 yr old boy who adores it. If you or someone little likes the snowman, then this will suit. It is like the snowman in kind but is easily able to stand by itself as a work of quality. Additional features also worth watching. Highly recommended. You will no doubt find yourself humming Tilly's song.

I bought for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves it, despite being the type of girl who doesn't sit still normally! Beautiful design and very "cuddly".
