Another great session from Hank Mobley. I listened to this again recently after not hearing it for quite a while. There's sometimes not a lot to distinguish between Mobley's 60's output, with Roll Call and Soul Station being the albums that most rate the highest. This is a thoroughly enjoyable blast however, great to blow away those Sunday morning cobwebs! The band are on top form, and include the ledendary Lee Morgan on trumpet. I don't understand the other reviewer's criticism of the production at all. Another fantastic remaster from the late, great Rudy Van Gelder. Nothing groundbreaking here, simply great jazz played well from start to finish. Recommended.
