a wonderful film
on 1 February 2004
This film was a childhood favorite of mine but unlike most of the other films i enjoyed as a child, this classic tale has kept all of its charm and i love it even more now. The film has that unmistakable Don Bluth (director) feel to it which was lacking in the two films that followed.
It is the story of a young mouse, fievel, and his family who having travelled to America from Russia in search of a better life, find the living conditions of the back streets of New York even worse than the home they left behind. So, lead by the charming Cat R. Wall (John Cleese), the Mowskowitz family head to the wild wild west in hope of finding an exiting new frontier but lose thier youngest son fievel along the way.
This film features an all star cast, has lots of catchy and sometimes beautiful songs and offers a heart-warming ending, a wonderful film for viewers old and young!
