First of all, steer clear of the Saw (Uncut, Theatrical Version) (ASIN: B0007LEJNQ). The quality of the physical DVD is poor.

Go for Saw (Special Edition) (ASIN: B000BQ7D76). The picture quality is very good, due to the 8000kbps average bitrate. Sound is good too.

An original, psychological thriller with good acting and a twisted ending

Probably not as good as it's reputation - done on a budget, and the acting at times is not top drawer. But still a great story line and ratchets up the tension superbly. Unique at the time, very original, still a decent film but a poor relation to Seven. Decent BluRay, with good extras.

Gutted as it's poor quality. Every scene is very dark. Says uncut but loads was cut out of certain scenes..very disappointing. Don't waste your money

I just love this series of films. Wonderfully psychologically complex.

Err.....interesting. I would keep it away from children. Probably in the same genre as "Chainsaw Massacre". Glad I watched it.
