Good sturdy product (once you have added the wood). Thought it could have been clearer that the inter-connecting lower piece of wood needs to be smaller dimension but v. easy to assemble if you have a local timber merchant to cut the wood. Looks like it will last for many years....

Not worth the price. Too much hassle

Easy to assemble but do not get 2" x 4" wood as it is too thick for the lower connection and can be rough even when planed. The next size down with rounded edges is pleasant to sit on and fits well.

Bought this one as a birthday present for a friend, having bought one for my own garden last year. Basically what you get is the moulded recycled plastic legs. It's very easy to use a few pieces of 2x4 or 2x6 outdoor or construction timber to make a very sturdy bench. Mine is light enough to move around the garden to wherever we want to sit.

Great little kit. All you have to do is send hubby to get some wood and you have everything you need to make a great little bench!
Make to any length you like. Feels sturdy when sat on.

Absolutely brilliant! Creates an extremely sturdy bench for half the price of anything listed on eBay or elsewhere and does the job perfectly!

I was a bit disappointed when the item arrived as it looked cheap and the colour wasn't very realistic looking (I think it is meant to look like stone). However, we decided to paint the table ends black and after several coats it looked OK. We had a bit of difficulty fitting the lower plank into the openings and had to plane it down on all four sides at both ends. We also had to cut out a groove on two sides of the lower plank at both ends so it would fit. The wood cost £12 from a woodyard, the paint cost £8 and the wood stain cost £9, making an extra £29 on top of the cost of the table ends. If you already have paint and wood stain it won't cost as much but the cost was still better than buying one ready made, and probably looks a lot better than ready made tables.. After it was finished it looked very sturdy and smart and has already had a lot of use for our cups of coffee in the garden!
