I fully support the earlier review. I stumbled across this CD. It's so difficult to categorise that you'd be unlikely to come across it through searching any particular genre. The two narrators have taken letters to porn stars, mostly written to the Sunday Sport, and then vocalised them in a straight manner that transforms them from being creepy (and not a little sad) to being very funny. I can't imagine how they came up with the idea, but it works extremely well. If you come across the CD, are very broadminded, and find humour in the absurd and the bizarre, then buy this. You will enjoy it.
The premise is simple; a compilation of some of the more extraordinary letters sent to various Page Three-style models.
The results are laugh-out-loud funny (and sometimes very strange) semi-coherent ramblings from dedicated onanists.
Johnny Trunk and Wisbey adopt various voices (James Mason, Cary Grant, etc.) to 'perform' the letters; sometimes with musical accompaniment. A second volume is promised at some time in the future. I can't wait!
