This release is slightly different from the Babyshambles releases thus far, however, Libertines and Doherty fans alike will be well aware of the merits of this track from its appearance on the Babyshambles sessions that have done the rounds on the internet over the past couple of years. The track has been reworked to encompass all things shambolic but it still retains its beautiful meandering quality and also the 'pale thing girl' who Doherty refers to in many of his songs. 'If your looking for a cheap tart glimpsed with persperation' then this song is for you. That line from the song is quite definitely a metaphor for this track. Rough, ready and shambolic, as always, but somewhat more spiritual than Babyshambles releases so far, quite possibly Doherty's first number 1 single. the Good Ship sails on course, albeit a drug-fuelled, rough sea-d rock n roll course with the odd supermodel chucked in along the way...

Great song!, the song fairly new to the libertine-esq chaotic style, more acoustic than usual great lyrics which fit the song.
A very real song, no materialistic lyrics or sounds truely original, if it was for the music and not the media this song would easily reach no.1 but who cares fantastic song!!
