As a big sci-fi and monster b-movie fan of 1950w/1960 s film genres i snapped this here on amazon a month or two back for a snip.

what you get is 3 public domain (ie free download films) packaged here on one x region 2 dvd . the three films Missile to the Moon , Earth versus the Flying Saucers and Planet Outlaws (a re-issue of the 1939 great and very amusing Buck Rogers series) : are all well worth your viewing time . the best technically is undoubtedly Earth v the Flying Saucers : which shock horror ! actually features good acting, a decent plot and very good effects. the final film here Planet Outlaws raises the most smiles though for its camp space suits, stiff acting and spaceships. terrific fun. Missile to the Moon is a bit duff : you have to wait well over 40 minutes into the film before the dull plot and wooden acting of the cast actually land on the moon . the rock monster scene IS however very bad and therefore very funny.

in a word - a bargain. three very entertaining black + white sci-fi films of generally good quality on one dvd for well under five pounds delivered to your door.

"i will not be a tool for your insane ambitions ..take my spaceship to Saturn!" (from Planet Outlaws) this dvd lots of retro sci-fi film fun here to enjoy.

Received this DVD in a very quick delivery time frame. Found that all 3 films are a marvellous trip back to past as the world was mad for Sci-Fi . Enjoyed all 3 films as Sci-Fi Classics as what they are but 4 stars and not quite 5 stars from me.

My Dad was delighted with them, he isn't usually delighted by anything, so guess this must be a sci-fi person's (of a certain age) cup of tea. Post excellent.

I love these old 1950s sci-fi films. I wasn't disappointed. I loved Earth Vs the Flying Saucers, although all 3 films were worth the money. Good value.
