The arrival of young Andrew Forbes, the psychic Scot, provided a much needed shot in the arm for the faltering TPs. "Castle of Fear" is one of the best stories in the run, "Achilles Heel"is definitely not, but the sublime "Living Skins" is worth the price of admission alone. The plot concerns a race of invading aliens (orange balloons to you) attempting to take over the world through a trendy '70s clothes chain (I'm not joking!). The idea is quite brilliant, but the execution - down to the inevitable miniscule British TV sci-fi budget - is endearingly hilarious.
One of the great masterpieces of the decade-without-style and not to be missed on any account.
