These are excellent binoculars. When I first received them I was disappointed as they had double vision. This however can be adjusted, for the perfect 'single' view. To adjust the collimation, there are 2 small hidden screws under the rubber handle, find out which one needs adjusted and screw in to go down and out to go up. Perfectly described here: [...] I note that many of the 1 and 2 stars for these binoculars are due to the collimation being out and customers thinking that they are broken. Follow the instructions carefully and you will have the excellent vision that these binoculars can provide. 5 star!

These binoculars let in a huge amount of light helping you see stars easily. I haven't used them in anger much yet but have been great to pick up and have a look at the moon and other celestial objects. So far I've seen the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades, the odd planet, and the moon. Been waiting for a nice clear night to try and see more.

These are my 3rd set of these unfortunately. The focus adjustment was damaged on my first two sets but amazon sent replacements very speedily. Checks yours when they arrive. I would have hoped the build quality was better but I may have just been unlucky.

The plastic tripod mount is very wobbly, best to try and buy a metal one, although the metal one will still wobble a little it is a lot lot better.

The minimum focus is probably around 40m so no great for looking at anything in most back gardens, or your next door neighbour.

Had a look through them this evening and observed Jupiter and its moons and an almost full moon. Took some pictures on iPhone 7+ through the bins at 1x and 2x on the iPhone to give a rough idea of what you can see. The 2x pictures are more likely what your eye will see. They are wobbly and a little burry but it was the best I could do. The clarity through the bins is great but the iPhone pictures are just to show the magnification so ignore the quality and the flares from a nearby street lights. I have been observing the moons moving around Jupiter over the last few nights and it is amazing to see them change every night.

I did a little bit of research before buying these and the Amazon reviews for these really helped as I was after a pair just for astronomy.

What more to say than excellent...they are good..powerful X25..good 70mm objective lens..lets in lots of light..bought as an addition to my telescope for astronomy use..extremely pleased with purchase...highly recomended for people who want to start astronomy without first purchasing a telescope..you can view the night sky with these binoculars so easily..you will though require a tripod for stability as these binoculars are too powerful to just hold by hand..well worth the money for good viewing...i recomended a tripod with extending centre column..G.S.S.

Easily the best £100 I've ever spent on star gazing equipment. The field of veiw is small and takes some getting used to but worth it as you get so much detail.
First used them on Orion and saw the gassy smudge of nebula better than my telescope. Get a tripod for mounting as they stabilise the veiw.

Really good product, excellent magnification. they are a bit heavy and a bit on the long side but they work well.

Sturdy, well made, excellent quality for the money. Centre image is crisp and clear. Slightly heavier than normal but feels well in your hands. Slightly shaky with distant views but quality over compensates this.

No strap to enable me to hang them from my neck. Hardly, if any better than my present binocs of less strength. Heavy to hold.
