This set seeks to recreate the opening space battle in Star Wars Episode 3 and contains Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Starfighter and a Vulture droid. You also get a Anakin minifigure with a lightsaber, which is very cool.
Compared to other Star Wars sets, kids will find this easy to put together as it has just over 200 pieces. The finished models of both ships look great and are surprisingly well detailed. The Jedi Starfighter has an opening cockpit, extendable landing gear and moveable wings. The Vulture droid can easily alternate between 'standing' and flying mode.
I knocked some stars off the Durability factor because even though the models they can be easily handled, they will come apart if handled roughly. Educational got three stars because, who knows, you might learn something. Building Lego makes learning fun.
Personally I'm keeping them as display models. Though not as high quality as some 'collectors' models, this set is not as highly priced either. The finished product is a faithful recreation and the satisfaction of building it is something anyone will enjoy.
Great for kids looking for a new toy, or for adults who don't wanna grow up and fancy a nice little Star Wars model constructed by themselves.
