Rhythm of Life is the debut album form Josef K front man it was originally released in 1983 on Les Disques Du Crepuscule and recorded in New York and London by producer Alex Sadkin. This collection of nine polished electro-funk cuts features stellar guest musicians such as Bernie Worrell (Parliament/Funkadelic), Anton Fier (Feelies/Golden Palominos), and Tom Bailey (Thompson Twins).

tracklist
01 Heaven Sent
02 Never Give Up (Party, Party)
03 Adoration
04 Stolen Love
05 Don't Rush In
06 Blue For You
07 In The World
08 Justice
09 Work Together
bonus tracks
10 Heaven Sent (NY Remix)
11 Blue For You (NY Remix)
12 Never Give Up (NY Remix)
13 Stolen Love (NY Remix)
14 Justice (NY Remix)
The five bonus tracks are taken from the 1984 mini album New York Remix, mixed by Bruce Forest.
The CD runs for 70 minutes, and features a full artist biography as well as the original Benoit Hennebert artwork.
The only downfall of this release is that the original 1983, 12" release versions of "Heaven Sent", "Never Give Up (Party, Party) & "Justice 82" are not included on this CD, these versions possess much more energetic and are true to the album version (as 12 versions were in those days).

If you like Paul Haig......this is for you, I bought this to replace my old vinyl copy of the British release. The inclusion of the extra tracks IS a bonus for someone who didn't have them on the original.
