This is the second song to be released from her debut album 'Open'. It's not the best song on the album but it definitely grows on you. The vocals stand out strong from the background. Shaznay doesn't have a very strong voice but it sounds perfect on this track. It's a very subtle song with great lyrics (that Shanzay wrote herself). This beautifully displays all of her abilities as a singer and songwriter. It's a shame it failed to break the top 40, but all truelly talented artists are unappreciated in their lifetimes. your time will come Shaznay!!!
Obviously having learnt nothing from Never Felt Like This Before's lacklustre attempt at breaking the charts, Shaznay returns with another mid-tempo ballad that manages to slip by your ears without leaving any trace that it has ever passed through. The song is OK and that's exactly what's wrong with it. As a new solo artist Shaznay should be releasing nothing short of spectacular and stop relying on past All Saint's fans to lap up her new material without question. This song will breeze by you on the radio and you'll never even realise it was there. If Shaznay wants mainstream success she should look to artists such as Jamelia for advice. Alternatively, she could make a living writing nice b-sides for other aritsts.
