I'd give this 3.5 if there were half stars.
This is a cross between RISK and the Crystal Maze. I know this sounds weird but it's still extremely entertaining.
I played this game the first time in 1987 on the C64 and was amazed! The XBOX incarnation doesnt have the same Wow factor but it's still a game with many hours of solid strategy + not bad sub-games.
OK so the fighting isn't up to present day gore-fest quality but you can choose to do the sub-games (swordfighting, Archery + Jousting) as much or as little as you like.
The battles are a little bit fiddly but still highly charged with tension. As the box says this is "Cinemaware" and this means it plays like a film. So there is a lot of good voice acting and humour in this "film". Fortunately you can skip these when you get sick of seeing them. The dialogues can be a bit long and there are many of them!
So in summary I'd say it's a worthwhile purchase at this price range. This is an original concept in gaming and not many of those are out there.
