This lp contains the same track from the amazing cd single and crash and burn on the B-side. It is deffinately worth buying for a collection item or if you have a record player, to listen to. Found is fast paced and ingenious rock song that sounds awesome live and great recorded. I highly recomend to anyone to at least listen to the band if not buy the singles. SPAN are a very talented band, and their music shows this.

I caught Span recently supporting stoner rock legends Fu Manchu and 'Found' stood out in what was an excellent live set. They were entertaining & powerful. The frontman was stylish, enigmatic and had both excellent voice and character. This single doesn't disappoint at all - Found is reminiscent of Joan Jett's I love Rock N Roll being played by Queens of the Stone Age and that's a compliment. It's conscise production maybe is a little over polished...a fact proven by the excellent and raw B sides which are less produced. Crash & Burn is Foo Fighters vs Muse complete with Queen esque guitar solo and Mental Surgery is again a reminiscent slab of classic rock, this time more of a Ramones approach (also sounding like it's being played with QOTSA style vigour). Span rub shoulders with stoner rock and emo sounds, but carve their own character through both.
This is an impressive package, I expect Span's debut album will turn heads when it's released. In the meantime, this and earlier ltd single 'On My Way Down' serve as great teasers for what's to come.

I saw these guys when they were a support band in April of this year. I was just blown away and I have been waiting for what seems like forever for them to release some of their original and very impacting material. This band is not what you would really associate with typical Norweigan rock. They bring something new and fresh to the current rock scene! And also each of them are really decent blokes.
Jarle (lead singer) knows how to work a crowd into a frenzy and the riffs and pounding bass in any of their songs just blow you away.
I'm gonna get my needed fix with this single and count the days until their inevitably brilliant album is released!
Buy! Support! Embrace the "machine gun rock 'n' roll" that is SPAN!!!!

I first heard of Span in October last year, their single "In the End". This song had me instantly hooked with its catchiness and its riffery. Then I could find nothing until "Found" came out, and this has confirmed what I knez all along. I love Span. Their grounded old-school style has real substance behind it, unlike other bands like Busted (argh), a unique catchiness and a throwback to when rock was really rocking. Don,t just get this single, get the album "Mass Distractio" when it gets out later this month.

This is such an amazing song and an excellent introduction to Norwegian newcomers, Span.
The fantastic guitar riffs work well with the double vocals and only add to the old-school hard rock feel of the song. Anyone craving an escape from the cheesy pop-punk of Lavigne and her groupies should check this band out.
They rock, they know it, they're damn good.

This is a great single. I saw these guys live when they supported Evanescence in London at the Astoria (who were also amazing...may I add...). They played a couple of tracks, two of which were Found and Mental Surgery, both of these are on the single.
