If you want to do serious java devlopment you need a copy of this product!...Ok you can get the personal edition for free on Borelands site, you can even get a copy of Sun's IDE for free, but for productivity where Java is concerned you need a copy of JBuilder 8 Enterprise.
JB8 Enterprise is fabulous for creating all types of java products from applications & applets to web applications (which is the hottest thing at the moment). You can even write XML documents.Java Beans is also hot at the moment & JB8 is the ideal product to take full advantage of this exciting new feature.....all in all excellant 10 out of 10 Boreland!

Having used JBuilder 2,3 & even 6, I found using JBuilder 8 Enterprise an absolute dream. The Enterprise edition allows the user to write J2EE applications & XML,areas that most interests me at the moment as they are targeted at the web.The software itself is very helpful in terms of code production & I cant imagine using any other piece of java software other than Borelands JBuilder.
The Borland site itself even gives you PDF files (Books) explaning the software & how to use it (saving you money & which are a great bonus!)overall an excellant piece of software getting better everytime!
