Kahlo suffered, oh, how she suffered, both from the injuries she received in the bus crash and the disappointments she received regularly from her errant, wayward husband, Rivera. Salma Hayek's excellent portrayal makes Frida Kahlo's unusual, hot and sensuous life excruciatingly real.

The DVD arrived in excellent condition - good as new. Great price & very speedy delivery. What more can you ask for ?!!
I love this movie, fantastic insight into the life of Frida Kahlo with Salma Hayek and Alfred Molino... Salma Hayak is especially brilliant in the role..

This movie belongs in the 'classics'. A great telling of an amzing artist/artists lives, warts and all. Everything from the acting, direction, script, through to period detail and cinematography is top drawer and make it movie that can be watched and re-watched on many levels.

This is a beautiful film depicting the Mexican Artist 'Frida Kahlo's' life, played brilliantly by Selma Hayek with a great performance - as always from 'Alfred Molina.' It is in my top 5 favourite films as it's inspiring, sexy, moving and utterly magical. Watch it. X

Frida Kahlo was a fascinating character I am actually glad that I visited Mexico and found out about her life. The film is I think a tear jerker as it portrays all the tragedy she endured in her short life which she expressed in her paintings.

Absolutely fabulous film, very moving, heartbraking in places, but absolutely gripping to watch. This film is not as I thought about her paintings, but about her life and painting. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend.

Friend loved it! Although she had seen the film at the cinema, it was good to have her own copy.
Really good film about an interesting lady that I came across from reading Barbara Kingsolver's Lacuna. Another great read.

Excellent film and will enjoy watching it many times over. Scenes which could be controversial are handled tastefully and artistically. Service from Amazon was excellent as goods arrived well within estimated time frame.
