Okie, so it's a bluetooth product. Neato! A standard is a good thing, egh?
Only catch is, Microsoft doesn't seem to have done a standard implimentation. On a laptop or desktop which already has bluetooth, this gear simply won't work! It REQUIRES that you use the PROPRIETARY Microsoft bluetooth transciever. The best suggestion that Microsoft support could give me was to disable my onboard bluetooth in the laptop, and hang their ugly dongle off the back of my nice new notebook!
If you want a bluetooth compliant mouse and keyboard, these are apparently not it! Why don't they just call it "proprietary wireless", just like Logitech and others??
